About Clan MacDubhsith (pronounced 'mac dew  she')

Translation : 'Black (one) of Peace' or 'The Dark Featured Clan'

The Lord Lyon has agreed to call us Clan MacDubhsith , our ancient Gaelic name that binds us all. This was the name for all MacDuffees, MacPhees, MacPhies, Macfie’s, McAfee’s.... hundreds and hundreds of years ago.

All Clan Macfie Societies have kept their society names, just added Clan MacDubhsith after it. 
So we are now called
